Many people find themselves wanting to become more fit and live a healthier life as they get older, or others have always had the drive to live that healthier lifestyle from a young age. In todays society it may be challenging for someone to start exercising that hasn’t exercised in a while or someone that has never even been to a gym before. Many people can become very self conscious going to the gym for the first time. They may not necessarily know what exercises to do or how to even start their workout. I have found two fitness apps that I absolutely love and I needed to share them with you guys whether you’re a beginner or not! They’re called “Workout for Women” and “30 Day Fitness Challenge”.


“Workout for Women” is a female weight loss and exercise app that gives women many different options of exercises. It is such an easy app to use and very self explanatory, when I started using it I got the hang of it right away. The exercises are split into categories based on what part of the body you want to work on and what type of workout you are doing for that day. Some of the categories are legs shaper, hard core, arm toner, better back, etc. this app also includes what level the workout is, how long it will take you and how many calories you will burn. Once you click which type of workout you want to do, the app brings you to a new screen and right there are the exercises listed. There are also videos of a personal trainers showing you how to do them if you don’t know, which is extremely helpful for people that are just beginning to workout.
This app provides a huge amount of workout options and different exercises you can do. There are also the #12 app in health and fitness with 4.8 stars! Another amazing feature about this app is you can track your progress and goals over a 6 month period. There are even motivational quotes on the app to help people push themselves to their full potential. I recommend this app to not only women but also men that are struggling to think of workouts that will be beneficial for their bodies. Even if you’re comfortable with going to the gym and knowing what exercises to do this is a great way to switch up your normal workout routine!


Another app I had come across is the “30 Day Fitness Challenge” app. I thought this app would be interesting to download and try because it is based only on 30 days, so I wanted to see the difference between a workout app that is more toward months instead of just 30 days. This app was also very easy to navigate, and gave many options of workouts and exercises as well. This app targets people who are too busy to go to the gym, so they created at home workouts. There are also detailed instructions and videos for each exercise if you’re unsure about how to do them correctly.
The 30 Day Fitness Challenge app is set up by category, there’s full body workout, abs workout, butt workout, arm workout, and leg workout. Once you decide which workout you want to do you pick the level of intensity (easy, medium or hard) and it gives you the exercises for that specific body part you chose. Another great feature this app has is a meal plan, which comes free with the download! Many other apps I have seen you have to purchase the meal plan in addition to downloading the app. Although these meals may not be something you want to directly follow, it is a great guide for someone struggling with bad eating habits. Even though this app is made for a 30 day challenge, the huge amount of exercises the app provides can be used beyond the 30 days. This app is not only great for beginners but also advanced fitness people! I really recommend giving both the “Workout for Women” and “30 Day Fitness Challenge” apps a try you won’t regret it!
